While the 8 10/100 Mbps (PoE) camera ports can assure solid camera-to-switch rates, to speed the rest of the route to the network & back to the NVR, the new PWR-POE-8-V3 has dual 10/100/1000 Mbps uplink ports to double thruput. Both ports can also be set by DIP switch to an extended mode for greater range (but at a lower speed) when needed.
