Universal Standard Bus, simply known by the acronym USB is an industry standard that represents the cables, communication protocols and connectors used between computers and electronic devices for connection, communication and power. USB cables are commonly used with connecting computer peripherals including keyboards, digital cameras, printers, scanners, media players and others to a PC, both to supply power and communication. Presently, USB can be found on smartphones, video game consoles, PDA’s and other consumer electronics.
