For this example scenario, a component to VGA cable is required as long as the devices that are being used support this type of connection. In a few cases, VGA breakout cables consists of 3 or 5 heavily shielded coaxial cables bundled in a dense fitting jacket. VGA breakout cables are tested to pass a 1080 signal, however some source devices may not have enough voltage and current and a booster may be needed.
