S-Video Cables

Separate Video also known in general as S-Video is a standard analog video signal outputting 480i or 576i. The name Separate Video came from the fact that black-and-white and color signals are separated to form a higher and much better image quality than composite video; however lower than component video. Typically, S-Video cables have four-pin connector types, a seven-pin mini-DIN as a non standard usually used with computer equipment and a nine-pin connector for graphics systems with an input and output.
