The FXD60.4 is a 4-channel installation network amplifier that combines Dante AoIP networking, integrated DSP, and a built-in Wi-Fi access point for direct browser control. It delivers 60 watts per channel in Class-D efficiency and supports bridged outputs up to 120 watts per pair. The unit is designed to simplify distributed audio setups while preserving audio quality and system control.
The amplifier includes a comprehensive onboard DSP engine providing sensitivity, routing, parametric EQ, FIR filter import, compressor, limiter, delay, polarity, and speaker presets. It supports both low-impedance and high-impedance speaker loads selectable in software, and offers advanced dynamic power sharing that balances power between channels. Front-panel LEDs and the web-based UI make system status and adjustments accessible from local and remote devices.
Performance specifications include a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ±0.5 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 106 dBA at 8 ohms. Total harmonic distortion is specified at ≤ 0.05% THD+N and the FXD60.4 provides multiple protections including DC fault, overload, short circuit, thermal, and undervoltage. The amplifier supports stereo or bridged operation and includes detailed speaker processing tools for alignment and protection.
Connectivity covers 4×4 Dante audio over IP I/O, 1x Gigabit Ethernet, balanced Euroblock mic/line inputs plus unbalanced RCA inputs, S/PDIF coaxial I/O, Euroblock speaker outputs, and an 8-pin GPIO for control assignments. The built-in Wi-Fi hotspot allows peer-to-peer connection to the browser UI and the unit can also operate on a wired LAN with DHCP or static IP. Remote troubleshooting and firmware updates are supported via network access.
Common applications include multi-zone music distribution in retail and hospitality, paging and background music for restaurants and bars, and paging/noise-masking systems for offices and medical facilities. The comprehensive DSP and Dante networking make it suitable where long-distance signal distribution or centralized audio routing is required. Bridging and Hi-Z options permit mixed speaker topologies in a single system.
The FXD60.4 ships as a compact 1/2 rack form factor that can be rackmounted or used on a shelf and offers lightweight Class-D efficiency for reduced rack heat and power draw. The browser-based UI requires no local software installation and the built-in WAP allows setup from tablets or phones on site.
