The ATEN VW1608 is a modular 4U video wall processor that manages up to 16 inputs and 8 outputs in a compact chassis. ATEN VW1608 provides true 4K60 4:4:4 support using FPGA-based processing and FrameSync to ensure accurate color and frame-aligned output. The unit supports modular I/O expansion, hot-swappable modules and redundant power options to maintain continuous operation.

VW1608 supports up to four independent canvases with flexible multi-window layouts including overlapping, picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture, plus pixel-level cropping and bezel compensation. Local HDMI preview and a Web GUI enable drag-and-drop layout control and real-time monitoring before content goes live. Integration options include RS-232, Telnet, SSH and a RESTful API for third-party control systems.

For high-availability deployments, two VW1608 units can be configured in Backup Mode for real-time mirroring and automatic failover while daisy-chaining up to three units extends output capacity to 24 displays. Hot-swappable fans, hot-standby CPU board and redundant power options reduce service downtime in mission-critical environments.
