Description

The Barco PDS-4K is a rack-ready presentation switcher that provides UHD 4K60 processing and low-latency two-frame switching for single, dual, and quad-screen displays. It combines multiple digital inputs and outputs to manage mixed-signal sources without degrading image quality.

The unit features six HDMI 2.0 inputs, two 12G-SDI inputs and outputs, two DisplayPort 1.2 inputs, four HDMI outputs, and four 12G-SDI outputs, plus preview and multiview functionality. Event Master Athena scaling reduces scaling artifacts and supports PiP layers to show two live sources simultaneously.

Control options include front-panel mapping, WebUI, Ethernet, and Event Master software integration; an API and optional cards extend functionality while Dante audio support and HDCP 2.2 compatibility ensure modern AV workflows.
