Description
Barco PDS-4K is a UHD 4K60 HDMI presentation switcher engineered to deliver low-latency multiformat video processing for single-screen and dual-screen installs. It uses Event Master Athena scaling to preserve image clarity and minimize scaling artifacts during live switching.
The unit accepts six HDMI 2.0 inputs and provides four HDMI 2.0 outputs plus a preview HDMI output and a 4-way multiview. Two live sources can be shown simultaneously using PiP layers while maintaining ultralow two-frame latency at 60 Hz.
Control options include front-panel mappable buttons, WebUI over Gigabit Ethernet, and Event Master screen management software for Windows or macOS. The PDS-4K integrates with Barco ClickShare and can be automated via API or third-party control systems; optional cards enable future expandability.
