The PG96230B2 is a 3-phase switched eco PDU engineered to provide accurate power distribution and energy monitoring for high-density racks. It delivers 30 IEC outlets in a 0U rack form factor and supports rapid power-up of connected equipment. The unit is optimized to help IT teams reduce energy consumption and improve power visibility.
Key features include an ARM Cortex-A8 processor for flexible control and monitoring, built-in energy-efficient relays to reduce wasted power, and precise kWh metering with +/-1% accuracy. The PDU offers a rotatable hot-swappable LCD console for real-time alerts and selectable LCD panel colors to simplify feed identification. Cascading support allows multiple PDUs to be linked for centralized management.
On the technical side the PG96230B2 accepts a 208V 3-phase (Delta) input via a NEMA L15-20P connection and supports 20A maximum input current with 16A UL de-rated operation. It reports bank-level current, voltage, power factor and kWh data and supports bank-level outlet switching. Metering accuracy is 1% which enables precise energy baselining and reporting.
Connectivity options include 1 Gbps and 100 Mbps Ethernet ports plus COM and USB interfaces, an environment sensor RJ-45 port, and optional Wi-Fi dongle support. Network and management features include SNMP v1/v2/v3, Modbus over TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS 1.2, IPv6 and common network services. Alerts are supported via SNMP, SMTP and syslog for automated notification workflows.
The PG96230B2 is well suited to enterprise server racks, network closets and data centers where uptime and energy efficiency matter.
