The PE4104 IP Control Box is a compact networked power distribution unit that provides centralized control of four power outlets. It enables local and remote on/off and power cycle control of individual outlets. The unit supports scheduled control and power-on sequencing to ensure connected equipment starts in a controlled order.
Remote management is provided via a built-in 10/100 Ethernet port and TCP/IP access. The device supports multiple network protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, SNMP v1 v2 v3, Telnet and Modbus over TCP IP for flexible integration. It also supports email-based control using IMAP and POP3 and works with web-based eco DC software for centralized management.
The PE4104A model accepts 100-120 VAC nominal input and supports up to 15A maximum input current with UL de-rating to 12A. It provides four NEMA 5-15R outlets and includes UL1077 breakers for overload protection. Typical device power consumption is approximately AC110V: 3.1W 20BTU/h and AC220V: 3.5W 22BTU/h.
Connectivity options include a 10/100 Ethernet port and support for TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SMTP, ARP, NTP, DNS, SNMP v1 v2 v3, Ping, Telnet and Modbus. The unit supports remote authentication via RADIUS and TLS1.2 encryption for secure communications. It also receives heartbeat signals from connected devices via PMonitor and can reboot devices that stop responding.
This IP control box is suitable for digital signage, video walls, edge computing devices, network appliances and small rack installations. It is intended for environments that require sequenced power-up, remote reboot capabilities and centralized outlet control. Typical applications include hospitality displays, retail signage, routers, servers and surveillance cameras.
The PE4104 features a slim form factor that supports desk or rack mounting and a separate power feed for the unit and its outlets so the user interface remains accessible during an overload trip. Front panel outlet lock prevents inadvertent button presses and the browser-based UI makes setup straightforward. The combination of hardware breakers, secure network protocols and eco DC compatibility simplifies deployment and ongoing management.
