The AT-UHD-PRO3-88M is a 4K/UHD matrix switcher with dual-distance HDMI to HDBaseT including all the bells and whistles. This newly developed product from Atlona is fully capable of routing HDMI over HDBaseT up to 100 meters (328 feet) or 70 meters (230 feet), hence the dual distance feature. Why the dual distance you ask? Well, Atlona thought this through by acknowledging the fact that applications that require an 8×8 matrix switcher are probably working on some type of budget. To add value, Atlona has added the dual distance to address budget concerns allowing the integrator or user to choose a receiver for 100 meters or 70 meters. The compatible receivers are the AT-UHD-EX-100CE-RX for 100 meters or the more affordable AT-UHD-EX-70C-RX for 70 meters.
Atlona’s 4K/UHD matrix switcher is PoE enabled on the receiving end with an option for analog audio breakout. In addition, the AT-UHD-PRO3-88M has two HDMI outputs as well for mirrored routing allowing the user or integrator to route HDMI based audio to an AVR or just as an additional output. On top of that, the outputs also allow bi-directional extension for IR control with remote and RS-232.
