A matrix switcher connects multiple sources (e.g., cable boxes and game consoles) to multiple displays. The BZB Gear 8×8 matrix switcher can connect up to eight sources to eight displays, making your sports bar or business the ultimate entertainment venue!
The BZ-UHD-88M-ARC is an 8×8 HDMI and HDBaseT matrix switcher that sends 4K HDR, 18Gbps signals to 35 meters (115 feet) and 1080p signals to 70 meters (230 feet). It includes six HDBaseT receivers which are PoC (Power over Cable) for long distance connections and two HDMI 2.0b independent outputs. It is also HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.4 compatible.
The BZ-UHD-88M-ARC has optical and analog audio outputs. It supports Audio Return Channel (ARC) as well as a wide range of audio formats such as Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and LPCM. The analog and digital audio ports are configureable and allows for extraction of the audio to amplifiers or surround sound receivers.
As for control options, the 8×8 matrix switcher has front panel buttons and a remote control. A useful web UI allows for control and configuration though a laptop. LAN/IP control, RS-232, and IR are also options. On the matrix switcher and its receivers, there are IR inputs and outputs. Also included are 15 blasters and 16 flashers.
