InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas is behind us and what a great show it was. The amount of attendees broke previous years and I’m sure it had nothing to do with the World Cup being shown on many 4K displays. 500,000 square feet of space was what visitors from over 114 countries had to work with and roam in. 4K ready devices were all over the show floor which makes this year’s InfoComm 2014 a gamechanger.
We, at AVProSupply are ecstatic about the newest products showcased by our vendors. The advancement in technology has progressed steadily and the evolution of AV products is aligned with consumer needs.
The AT-UHD-CLSO-612 multi-format switcher was a feature product at Atlona’s booth, assuring compatibility with a built in scaler while supporting 4K/UHD resolutions. Hall Research has a similar unit with their SC-12BT multi-format scaler switch with HDBaseT output. We also made a stop by Kramer Electronics, one or our other pronounced vendors that we’ve been working with for many years. One of their featured products was the VS-62H HDMI matrix switcher with Kramer’s reKlocking and equalization technology. With this function, signals can be routed to any input to either or both outputs simultaneously.
We also made stops at Avenview, TVOne/Magenta, Purelink , AJA and Gefen while capturing video footage of their newest products for 2014.
