The Hi5-4K Mini-Converter utilizes an HDMI 1.4a connection allowing 4K content to be transmitted over a single cable. When it comes to the Hi5-4K’s audio, up to 8-channels of embedded audio from the SDI signal are transmitted seamlessly to HDMI 1.4a output, allowing perfect synchronization and simple playback to the connected display. In addition, 4K signals which is 4096×2160 pixels while UltraHD measures 3840×2160 can prevent some monitors from being used. With the Hi5-4K, these resolution differences are compensated allowing UHD monitors to be used in 4K products. The same can be said with 4K monitors working with UHD products.
