The MH650A is a 4K UHD laser projector designed to deliver high-definition images with long-life illumination. It combines Appotronics ALPD laser technology and a DLP 0.47 DMD to produce crisp detail and accurate color. The projector supports extended uptime with a rated light source life of 20000 hours.
Key features include a 6500 lumen brightness rating, over 95% uniformity, and a Rec.709 display gamut for consistent color reproduction. The unit also integrates MEMC motion compensation and AIPQ image enhancement to reduce motion blur and improve perceived clarity. Multi-screen color uniformity is supported to maintain consistent color across blended or arrayed displays.
Technical performance covers native 4K resolution output capability, high contrast ratios, and flexible lens options ranging from short-throw to long-throw. The optical engine is dust-protected to IP5X standards and the patented cooling system improves thermal stability. Brightness is specified at 6500lm and contrast is rated at 100,000:1 or greater.
Connectivity includes dual HDMI inputs and an HDMI output, USB-A power ports, S/PDIF audio output, LAN and RS232 control, and 3D sync and IR control ports. Input resolutions supported include 4K 60Hz and 1080P 120Hz. The projector is integrated with Appotronics APOS operating system and APCS control platform for local and remote management.
The MH650A adapts to a wide range of installation scenarios with powered optical axis shift, multi-point geometric correction, and support for curved-surface mapping. It supports 360 degree installation orientation and offers powered lens shift ranges and optional motorized lenses to fit diverse screen sizes. Screen compatibility ranges from 80 to 300 inches depending on lens selection.
Built for reliability, the projector operates across a 0 to 40 deg C ambient range and 10% to 85% non-condensing humidity. Noise is specified at 36 dB in normal mode and standby power consumption is under 0.5 W. The MH650A balances image fidelity, installation flexibility, and long-term operation for demanding AV environments.
