The CS1184DP4C is a secure 4-port USB DisplayPort KVM switch designed to share one monitor, keyboard, mouse, speaker and CAC reader across four isolated computer systems. It provides PSD PP v4.0 certified protections intended for sensitive environments where data separation is mandatory. The unit is built to render connected systems inoperable if physical tampering is detected ensuring a hardened desktop peripheral sharing solution.
Security features include always-on chassis intrusion detection, tamper-evident labels, non-reprogrammable firmware and configurable device filtration. The switch enforces unidirectional data flow and strict peripheral connectivity restrictions to prevent data leakage between computers. Port switching is limited to front-panel pushbuttons or an RJ-11 Remote Port Selector to reduce attack surfaces.
Video performance supports up to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz via DisplayPort and includes Video DynaSync to optimize resolution and eliminate boot-up display mismatches. USB HID keyboard and mouse are emulated and keyboard/mouse data is automatically purged after transmission and on port switching. Analog audio speaker output is supported with strict audio filtration to reduce risk of audio-based data exfiltration.
Connectivity includes one DisplayPort console output, two USB Type-A console ports, a front-panel analog mini stereo jack and a front-panel USB CAC port. The system provides four DisplayPort and eight USB Type-B KVM ports for connecting host computers along with four mini stereo audio jacks for speaker connections. Power is delivered via a standard three-prong AC inlet supporting 100-240V AC inputs.
The CS1184DP4C is suitable for government, military, financial, healthcare and other regulated environments that require separation of trusted and untrusted networks. It enforces administrative filtering of authentication devices and HID devices and offers audit logging capabilities for authorized administrators. The secure switching behavior and physical tamper protections enable immediate deployment in high-security desktop environments.
Built in a rugged metal enclosure and manufactured in Taiwan the switch is rated for operation from 0 to 50 degrees C and storage from -20 to 60 degrees C with non-condensing humidity up to 80 percent RH. LED indicators provide clear status for power, video, KVM and CAC ports while a semi-recessed reset and a rocker power switch maintain secure local control. The CS1184DP4C combines certified peripheral sharing protections with practical console performance for secure AV and IT integration.
