The CS1184D4 is a 4-port secure USB DVI KVM switch designed to provide isolated peripheral sharing between multiple classified systems. It enforces strict data isolation while allowing a single keyboard, mouse, monitor and speaker to be shared across connected computers. The unit is PSD PP v4.0 certified to meet National Information Assurance Partnership security requirements.
Key features include always-on chassis intrusion detection that renders the unit inoperable if tampering is detected, tamper-evident labels, non-reprogrammable firmware and configurable device filtration for USB HID devices. Port switching is restricted to front-panel pushbuttons or an optional Remote Port Selector to eliminate remote switching risks. The switch supports analog speaker output and strict audio filtration to prevent audio leakage.
Video performance is supported up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz on compatible HDMI-interfaced monitors when used with ATEN DVI-to-HDMI cables. The DVI interfaces also support DVI dual link 2560 x 1600, DVI single link 1920 x 1200 and DVI-A 2048 x 1536. Keyboard and mouse emulation uses USB and keyboard/mouse data is purged automatically after transmission and on port switching to protect user data.
Connectivity includes 1 DVI-I console port, 2 USB Type-A console ports, 4 DVI-I KVM ports, 4 USB Type-B KVM ports, and mini stereo jacks for speaker input. A rear-panel RJ-11 jack is provided for the optional Remote Port Selector. Power is supplied via a standard 3-prong AC socket supporting 100-240V AC input and the unit consumes under 9W in typical operation.
This switch is intended for environments that require strict separation of classified networks such as government, military, finance and healthcare installations. It is built in a rugged metal housing and manufactured in Taiwan to ensure supply chain and build integrity. LED indicators show power, selected port status and peripheral filtering status for straightforward operational feedback.
