The CS1142DP4 is a PSD PP v4.0 compliant secure KVM switch designed to provide trusted peripheral sharing between two isolated systems. It allows a single keyboard, mouse, dual DisplayPort monitors and a speaker to be shared while enforcing strict data isolation and unidirectional data flow. This model is produced in Taiwan and meets rigorous security standards for sensitive environments.
Security features include always-on chassis intrusion detection that renders the unit inoperable on tamper, tamper-evident labels, non-reprogrammable firmware and configurable USB HID device filtration. Manual port selection is enforced via front-panel pushbuttons or an optional Remote Port Selector to prevent automated switching. LED indicators display port and filtering status to support administrative oversight.
Video capabilities support up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and use ATEN Video DynaSync technology to maintain correct console resolutions when switching between sources. Audio support is restricted to analog speaker output only, and keyboard/mouse data is automatically deleted after transmission and on port switch. The design ensures true data path isolation so no data can be transferred between connected computers.
Connectivity includes DisplayPort console outputs, USB Type-A console ports, mini stereo jack for speakers, USB Type-B KVM ports, DisplayPort KVM ports, and an RJ-11 port for the Remote Port Selector. Power is provided via a 3-prong AC socket and the front panel offers pushbutton controls plus a semi-recessed reset. The device supports common USB HID emulation and standard DisplayPort cabling for straightforward integration.
