The CRS-PLUGNVIEW-H-33 is an active optical HDMI cable engineered for professional AV use and harsh environments. It combines an optical transmission core with armored mechanical protection to deliver long-reach HDMI connectivity in a compact plug-and-play form. This 33ft (10m) cable supports long cable runs up to 100 meters when used as an active optical link and is designed for repeated deployment in rental and road applications.
The cable supports high-resolution video up to 4K@60 4:4:4 and an 18 Gbps data rate to preserve image fidelity over extended distances. It carries HDR metadata including HDR-10, HLG and Dolby Vision, and supports deep color and x.v.Color for accurate color reproduction. Audio formats include Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio along with standard 5.1/7.1 channel support.
Performance is optimized for low power and simplicity – the active units are powered directly via the HDMI connector with a nominal consumption of 0.25W (50mA @ 5V). The cable maintains HDCP 2.2 compliance and passes EDID and CEC signaling to ensure source and sink compatibility. The optical design delivers stable bandwidth across long runs while avoiding the bulk and signal loss of copper-only cables.
Physical connectivity is standard HDMI Type A to Type A using robust, heavy-duty connectors and reinforced boots. The cable integrates mechanical protection including a stainless steel corrugated tube and Kevlar reinforcement under a TPU jacket to resist abrasion, pulling and compression.
