The CLS-AOCU32/AC-35 is an optical hybrid USB cable engineered for high-speed data transfer between a USB 3.2 host and a USB 3.2 device. It connects a USB-A male to a USB-C male connector and delivers SuperSpeed+ performance. This cable is designed specifically for data applications and does not support charging or ALT Mode signaling.
Key features include USB 3.2 Gen 2 throughput up to 10Gbps and a hybrid construction that combines fiber optics and copper conductors. The cable uses a 2-channel OM2 850 nm VCSEL array to maintain signal integrity over longer distances. It supports backward compatibility with earlier USB generations to ensure broad device interoperability.
Performance specifications cover a maximum data rate of 10Gbps and low power consumption at <=0.5W when operating. Mechanical ratings include long- and short-term tensile and crush resistances, plus a 20mm minimum bending radius to preserve fiber performance. Connectivity is provided by a USB 3.2 Type-A male on one end and a USB 3.2 Type-C male on the other end.
