The CLS-AOCU/CH active optical USB-C to HDMI cable is designed to deliver uncompressed 4K video and multichannel audio over long distances. It converts a USB-C video output to an HDMI display input using an optical hybrid cable architecture that preserves signal integrity. This cable supports resolutions up to 4K@60Hz and carries HDR and HDCP metadata for modern displays.
Key features include an 18Gbps data path, support for 4:4:4 chroma, and embedded audio up to PCM 8-channel and advanced lossless formats. The cable uses polymer-insulated glass fibers combined with tinned copper conductors to keep the assembly thin and flexible while reducing signal loss.
