The CA-HM-98 is an active high-speed HDMI cable engineered to carry HDMI signals over extended distances while maintaining signal integrity. It delivers reliable video and audio connectivity using an integrated active equalizer and signal compensation system. The cable draws power from the HDMI source so no external power supply is required.
Key features include support for high bandwidth transmission up to 18 Gbps at shorter runs, K-Lock pull-resistant HDMI connectors with LED status indication, and full HDMI features such as HDCP 2.2, HDR, EDID and CEC. The cable is triple shielded for maximum EMI protection and uses 24K gold-plated connectors for corrosion resistance. UL listed CL3/FT4 rating permits in-wall installation where permitted by local codes.
Performance varies by length: up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 at lengths to 66ft (20m), 4K@60Hz 4:2:0 at 82ft (25m), and 1080p@60Hz 12-bit at 98ft (30m). Data rates scale with length: 18 Gbps to 66ft, 10.2 Gbps at 82ft, and 6.75 Gbps at 98ft. The cable supports deep color, x.v.Color, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio formats.
Connectivity is provided via male Type A HDMI K-Lock connectors on both ends and an optional micro USB external power input on the display end for environments where source power is insufficient. The cable supports ARC and CEC system control functions and includes an LED on the connector to indicate successful signal transmission. Triple shielding and TMDS pairing provide robust noise rejection for AV installations.
The CA-HM-98 is suitable for conference rooms, digital signage, lecture halls and AV-integrated spaces where a single, reliable run is required without external power supplies.
