The CA-HM-66 is an active high-speed HDMI cable engineered to deliver reliable digital video and audio over long runs. It supports high-bandwidth HDMI signaling up to 18Gbps for near-professional AV installations and includes an integrated K-Lock connector for secure connections. The cable draws power from the HDMI source so no external power supply is required.
Key features include support for 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 at distances up to 20m, HDR support, HDCP 2.2 compatibility and an onboard LED status indicator. The cable uses active equalization and signal compensation in the connector to preserve signal integrity and reduce errors over extended lengths. Triple shielding and 24K gold-plated connectors help maintain consistent performance in electrically noisy environments.
Performance varies with length – the CA-HM active design delivers 18Gbps up to 20m, 10.2Gbps up to 25m and 6.75Gbps up to 30m, with progressive fallbacks to 4K@60 4:2:0 and 1080p modes as distance increases. Audio formats include Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. The connector pull-resistant K-Lock provides 15 lbs of restraining force and an LED confirms successful signal transmission.
Connectivity is provided by male Type A HDMI connectors on both ends that are 24K gold-plated and K-Lock enabled for pull resistance. The display-end connector includes an optional external micro USB power input for systems that cannot provide sufficient source power. The cable preserves EDID, CEC and ARC functionality where supported by connected devices.
