NETGEAR AXM764-10000S is a 10G SFP+ optical transceiver implementing 10GBase-LR Lite to provide singlemode fiber links over legacy 9/125um cable. The module supports hot-swappable installation into supported SFP+ ports on compatible NETGEAR switches.

This transceiver supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet links to distances up to 2 km (1.243 miles) over singlemode 9/125um fiber and uses an LC duplex connector. It interoperates with standard 10GBase-LR devices within the stated distance limitation.

The AXM764-10000S is designed for straightforward integration into M5300 M6100 M7100 and M7300 series SFP+ slots and selected Smart and Plus switches, enabling simple fiber uplinks and link upgrades without chassis downtime.
