The TX-35-IW-KVM is a single-gang in-wall HDBaseT 2.0 transmitter designed to extend HDMI video, USB 2.0 KVM and control signals over a single Cat cable. It delivers 4K60 capability along with RS-232 passthrough and Power over HDBaseT to simplify installations. The compact decora-style form factor fits standard US single-gang wall boxes for a clean AV installation.
This transmitter supports HDMI input and a USB Host interface for returning USB devices from the receiver, providing up to 150Mbps of USB 2.0 traffic. It extends 4K signals up to 35m and 1080p up to 70m over HDBaseT cabling and supports a 600MHz pixel clock. Additional system features include HDCP 2.2 compliance and automatic EDID management to preserve source compatibility.
Performance details include support for multiple 4K resolutions and a broad set of audio formats. Supported video resolutions include 1920x1080p@60Hz 16bit, 3840x2160p@30Hz 8bit 4:2:0, 3840x2160p@60Hz 8bit 4:2:0 and 4096x2160p@60Hz 8bit 4:2:0. Audio handling includes PCM 2.0/5.1/7.1, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS:X.
Connectivity covers a 19-pin HDMI type A input, USB 2.0 Type B host port, a single HDBaseT output and a 3-pin Phoenix RS-232 passthrough port that also supports firmware updates. The unit supports PoH one-way power from a compatible receiver such as the RX-500, or local 12V DC 1A input if PoH is not available. Front-panel LEDs indicate HDCP presence and link status for quick diagnostics.
Typical use cases include conference rooms, classrooms, training rooms and corporate AV installations that require tidy wall-mounted connections and centralized receivers. The product is suitable for AV professionals deploying KVM extension, digital signage or boardroom presentation systems where source control and USB device return are required.
