The TR-80N is a two-channel UHF narrowband wireless beltpack designed to work with the BTR-80N base station – it provides clear intercom audio in a compact portable form. The unit is frequency-agile and supports band H3 operations to meet regional UHF allocations. Its portable beltpack form factor makes it easy to carry and operate on stage or in broadcast production environments.
Key features include an LCD graphical user interface, a receiver RF meter for signal monitoring, and an auto-sensing headset connector that switches between electret and dynamic microphones. The chassis uses a cast magnesium case for ruggedness and EMI resistance, and detachable antennas allow flexible antenna placement. Additional features such as enhanced ClearScan and wireless talk-around improve frequency management and local communications.
Audio controls are simple and direct – the beltpack provides an audio channel select button, a talk button, and a dedicated talk light for status feedback.
