The RTS TR-800 is a frequency-agile UHF two-channel wireless beltpack designed to operate with RTS base stations. It provides on-board audio control and two independent channels so users can monitor and transmit on separate intercom paths. The unit supports B3 band options and is supplied to interface with standard 4M headsets.
Key features include individual volume controls, a talk button, talk light, and audio channel select button for fast operation. The beltpack also offers stage announce and wireless talk around functions for local monitoring and announcements. An LCD graphical user interface provides clear status and menu navigation on the unit.
Technical performance highlights include a frequency range of 470 – 608 MHz and 614 – 740 MHz in 18 MHz TX and RX bands, 712 synthesized FM channels, and a frequency response of 300 Hz to 8 kHz. The unit draws current specified for both push-to-talk and talk-on operation.
Connectivity is provided via a replaceable screw-type 1/4 Wave antenna for TX and RX and an auto-sensing headset connector that switches between electret and dynamic microphone types. The local headset output delivers audio to standard headsets and the beltpack supports detachable antennas for transport and field replacement. Compatibility with RTS BTR-800 systems ensures seamless integration into existing RTS wireless intercom networks.
