The RTS TR-800 is a two-channel UHF wireless beltpack designed for professional intercom systems. It provides clear, reliable wireless comms across dedicated UHF bands and supports band F3 operation. The unit is built for stage and broadcast environments where mobility and durable construction are required.
Key features include independent channel volume controls and an LCD graphical user interface for fast local configuration. The beltpack supports stage announce and wireless talk around (WTA) for flexible crew communication. Enhanced ClearScan simplifies frequency selection while detachable antennas allow optimized RF performance.
Technically the TR-800 operates across 470-608 MHz and 614-740 MHz TX/RX bands in 18 MHz segments and offers 712 synthesized FM channels. Frequency response is 300 Hz-8 kHz and distortion is specified under 1% at full deviation. RF sensitivity, selectivity, and image rejection are tuned for reliable reception in busy RF environments.
Connectivity includes a replaceable screw-type 1/4 wave antenna for TX and RX and an auto-sensing headset connector that switches between electret and dynamic microphones. A local headset output provides 40 mW into 600W and the unit includes talk and talk light controls plus audio channel selection. The beltpack supports standard 6 AA cell power with optional NiMH cells for rechargeable operation.
