The TP-789Rxr is an HDBaseT receiver designed to extend HDMI video, audio and control signals over a single twisted-pair cable. It receives HDMI 2.0 signals up to 4K60Hz 4:2:0 and supports HDCP 2.2 to preserve protected content. The receiver also handles Ethernet, RS-232 and IR signaling to maintain full remote control and network connectivity.
The unit provides bidirectional PoE functionality – it auto-senses PoE on the extension line and either accepts power from a PoE source or supplies power to a PoE acceptor. Video features include HDMI 2.0 compliance, deep color and x.v.Color support, and passthrough of EDID and CEC. Audio support includes HDMI uncompressed channels plus Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD compatibility for multi-channel formats.
Performance specifications include support for 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) 24bpp video over copper up to 100m 330ft using recommended Kramer cables. Lower HD resolutions achieve even greater reach. The receiver supports up to 32 channels of digital audio for complex surround configurations and extends Ethernet up to 100Mbps for LAN communication.
Connectivity includes an HDBaseT extension interface for video and control, HDMI for local display connection, bidirectional RS-232 for device control and bidirectional IR for remote control forwarding.
