The TP-594Rxr is an HDBaseT 2.0 receiver designed to extend HDMI video and associated control and audio signals over a single twisted-pair cable. It receives an HDBaseT feed and outputs HDMI while offering flexible audio routing and ARC handling. The unit supports 4K60 4:4:4 HDR video to maintain high image fidelity across long distances.
Key features include HDBaseT 2.0 compatibility, low-level compression for visually lossless 4K60 4:4:4 delivery, PoE support, and intelligent audio routing. The receiver can de-embed transmitted audio to balanced analog outputs and route ARC or digital audio back to the transmitter. It also provides bidirectional Ethernet, RS-232 and IR extension for integrated device control.
From a technical perspective the TP-594Rxr supports HDCP 2.2, HDR10 and HDMI 2.0 features such as deep color, x.v.Color and up to 32 audio channels. With compression the device handles up to 17.95 Gbps and without compression up to 10.2 Gbps. Extension reach is up to 100m (330ft) for 4K@60 and longer distances for lower resolutions, with specific ultra-long modes for Full HD.
Connectivity includes an RJ-45 HDBT input, HDMI output, optical TOSLINK digital audio input, balanced stereo analog terminal block, RJ-45 Ethernet, RS-232 terminal blocks, 3.5mm IR jack and a USB-A for firmware updates. The receiver exposes front-panel LEDs and rear DIP switches for quick status and configuration. It supports CEC over HDMI and an intelligent gateway for IP-driven control of connected AV devices.
Typical applications include long-reach 4K HDR AV extension in conference rooms, auditoriums, lecture halls, large residential rooms and house-of-worship installations. It enables centralized AV and ARC routing so audio can be returned to transmit-side speakers or AV receivers. The product integrates with enterprise management platforms for discovery, firmware updates and automation.
Installation is simplified by single-cable HDBaseT signal and power delivery, a compact MegaTOOLS fanless aluminum enclosure and optional rack mounting. Remote web UI management and RS-232 support facilitate local and remote maintenance. The unit is designed for stable field operation with remote firmware upgrade via Ethernet or USB.
