The SWT3-31-HU is a compact auto switcher that selects between one USB-C and two HDMI sources and provides HDMI output plus USB host switching. It is designed to couple AV and USB signals so room devices and an active USB host can be switched together. The unit supports BYOD USB-C connections and supplies power and Ethernet over a single cable.
The switcher supports HDMI 2.0 features including 4K60 4:4:4, deep color and HDCP 2.3 and provides USB 3.2 switching for high data rates up to 10 Gbps. The device includes audio de-embedding to balanced stereo analog output for local sound systems. It also includes intelligent EDID handling and automatic source selection for simplified operation.
Performance highlights include an 18 Gbps video data rate, HDCP 2.3 content protection and USB 3.2 Gen 2 throughput. Analog audio performance is optimized with 14.5 dBu max output, 500 ohm impedance, 20 Hz to 20 kHz bandwidth and 0.005% THD+N at 1 kHz. The switcher supports USB-C PD 3.0 charging up to 60 W when powered by the 20 V supply.
Connectivity is comprehensive – one DP Alt Mode USB-C input, two HDMI inputs, HDMI loop output, dedicated HDMI output, balanced stereo audio line output, IR port, multiple USB hosts and devices, Ethernet, RS-232 and GPIO. The built-in USB hub arrangement enables connection of 4 USB-A devices and two USB-B hosts alongside a USB-C host. Control options include local panel buttons, embedded web management and remote IP or contact-closure controls.
This product suits huddle spaces and small conference rooms where integration of room AV and online meeting systems is required. It enables switching of room cameras, microphones and source laptops so both in-room and remote participants see the same AV content. The device is also applicable as a BYOD connection point that supplies power and Ethernet to presenter laptops and tablets.
Installation is simplified by PoE powering, a MegaTOOLS fan-less enclosure for ceiling or rack mounting and an integrated intelligent control gateway for CEC, RS-232, IR and I/O control. Firmware upgrades and full web-based management enable IT-friendly deployment and secure 802.1x LAN authentication. The unit combines compact mechanical design and administrative features to reduce installation time and ongoing maintenance.
