The SK11KAS is a 4K DLP laser projector designed for large venue installations and demanding AV environments. It combines an RGBX ALPD5.0 laser engine and a compact chassis to deliver bright, color-accurate imagery at high brightness levels. The unit is engineered for long uptime and simplified remote management.
Key features include an RGBX full-spectrum laser light source with a strong red component and a wide color gamut that achieves over 110% of Rec.709 – this produces vivid, accurate colors for immersive content. The projector supports powered optical axis shift and a broad range of optional lenses to accommodate diverse throw distances. Built-in NFC pre-configuration and multi-mode geometric correction reduce setup time and simplify edge blending across irregular surfaces.
Performance highlights include 11000-12000lm center brightness in this model range, a dynamic contrast ratio of 100,000:1 or greater, and a measured uniformity of at least 92%. The laser light source lifetime is specified at approximately 20,000 hours under test conditions, and the optical engine is IP6X rated for dust-proof, low-maintenance operation. Noise levels are specified per model and installation orientation is supported at 360 degrees.
Connectivity covers modern AV workflows – HDMI 2.0 inputs supporting 4K/60, DVI-D, DisplayPort 1.2 4K/60, and optional HDBaseT for long-distance signal distribution. Control and integration options include RJ45 Ethernet, RS232 serial control, IR in/out, and a USB-B debug port, with USB-A expansion available for accessory connectivity. The projector also provides 3D sync and MULT SYNC interfaces for synchronized multi-projector systems.
Typical applications include large auditoriums, museums, planetariums, and rental and staging where accurate color, high brightness, and geometric flexibility are required. The projector’s lens options and motorized zoom/focus choices allow adaptation to short-throw and long-throw setups. The combination of high lumen output and expanded color gamut improves impact for cinematic content, branded displays, and large-scale projection mapping.
Installation and ongoing operation are simplified by motorized lens control, NFC pre-configuration to speed commissioning, and an integrated operating system that supports remote management.
