The RX3-100 is an HDBaseT 3.0 receiver designed to extend uncompressed 18G HDMI signals over a single category cable. It delivers 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 support and preserves HDR metadata to maintain image fidelity. This unit also provides USB device pass-through to connect cameras, touchscreens, and storage devices at high speeds.
The receiver supports HDBaseT 3.0 bandwidth up to 18Gbps and USB 2.0 passthrough with uplink speeds up to 300Mbps. It features three Type-A device ports for KVM or high-speed device connectivity and an HDMI output that carries multichannel audio to the display. Audio de-embed and an independent analog audio pass-through lane are available simultaneously for flexible audio routing.
Performance specifications include a 600MHz max pixel clock and resolutions up to 3840×2160@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit and 1920x1080p@60Hz 12bit. The RX3-100 supports HDR formats including HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG along with color spaces BT.2020 and BT.2100. HDCP 2.3 support ensures compatibility with current 4K UHD protected content.
Connectivity includes 1x HDBaseT RJ45 input, 1x HDMI output, 3x USB Type-A device ports, RS-232 via 3-pin Phoenix and a 3.5mm stereo audio output. HDBaseT features include HDMI, USB, EDID pass-through, bidirectional RS-232 and 2-way Power over HDBaseT (PoH). The receiver is compatible with DVI-I and DP++ v1.3 signals when paired with appropriate transmitters.
The RX3-100 is suited to meeting rooms, lecture halls and corporate AV systems where long-distance 4K extension and USB device connectivity are required. It supports webcams, interactive whiteboards and external storage devices while preserving video and audio quality over Cat6A cabling up to 100m/328ft. Backwards compatibility with earlier HDBaseT versions simplifies integration with existing infrastructure.
Installation is straightforward with a single Cat6A link between transmitter and receiver and a 20V DC 3A power supply. The unit includes mounting brackets and a compact metal chassis for rack or surface mounting. Bidirectional PoH capability reduces the need for multiple power supplies in many system configurations and RS-232 and CEC support enable centralized control.
