The RC68X is a 55-key handheld IR remote programmer designed to generate the infrared commands required to configure and operate Linear IR-controlled components. It provides a compact interface to access a comprehensive library of IR codes and to program universal learning devices. The unit is battery powered and sized for easy handling and storage.
The programmer includes an expanded IR code library of over 14,000 entries and retains the original 32-key layout section for backward compatibility with prior programming workflows. Keys are organized to allow direct selection of device command sets and extended key-code command capabilities. Adjustable IR control code groups are supported in many Linear components to simplify system integration.
Technically the RC68X is a 55-key handheld device that stores and emits the full set of Linear IR codes necessary for setup and operation of Linear IR products. The programmer requires two AA batteries and includes the physical dimensions 7 1/8″ H x 2 5/8″ W x 7/8″ D (181mm x 67mm x 23mm). Its expanded code library supports reliable recognition across a wide range of Linear models and variants.
Connectivity and compatibility focus on IR programming workflows and universal learning devices. The RC68X is used to program Linear remotes, keypads and other learning devices and it directly supports models such as ZPR68, RAT1, MIRV1 and GATEKEEP-IR. The device emits standard IR signals compatible with Linear IR-controlled products and universal learners that accept learned codes.
Typical applications include initial system setup, remote code troubleshooting and reprogramming of IR-controlled access points in residential and commercial AV installations.
