The PWR-EPOE-8-V2 is an unmanaged 8-port ePoE network switch designed to deliver extended PoE power and gigabit uplink performance. It supplies both standard PoE and Hi-PoE to support power-hungry network cameras and devices over long cable runs. The compact unit is engineered for quick plug-and-play deployment in surveillance and network edge installations.
Key features include eight RJ45 data ports plus a gigabit RJ45 uplink and SFP slot, long-distance ePoE transmission up to 800 m, and per-port Hi-PoE support on prioritized ports. Ports 1 and 5 can provide up to 90 W each while the remaining ports support up to 30 W where required, for a combined 120 W maximum output. Built-in QoS ensures traffic priority for video streams and critical data flows.
Performance specifics include a switching capacity of 8.8 Gbps, a packet forwarding rate of 5.36 Mpps, a 2.75 Mbit packet buffer and support for jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes. The unit supports IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab/z and 802.3X communication standards and is compatible with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, 802.3bt and Hi-PoE power protocols. The external power input is 54 VDC at 2.22 A and onboard protection provides common mode 4 KV and differential mode 2 KV lightning protection.
Connectivity includes eight 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports for ePoE devices, a dedicated 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 uplink port and a 1000 Mbps SFP optical uplink. The switch supports long distance transmission modes that adapt link speed and PoE output over Cat5/6 or RG59 cable types. LED indicators provide per-port status and transmission mode feedback to simplify commissioning and fault diagnosis.
Typical applications include IP surveillance systems feeding NVRs, edge PoE distribution for remote camera clusters, and small network segments requiring extended cable reach and concentrated PoE power. The unit is suitable for outdoor enclosure mounts or indoor rack and DIN rail installations in transportation hubs, retail environments, and industrial sites.
