The WP-211T is a wall-plate HDBaseT switcher and transmitter designed to accept two HDMI sources and deliver a single long-reach HDBaseT output. It automatically selects the active input based on user configuration and supports PoE powering from a remote PoE provider. The compact design fits standard EU 1-gang wall boxes for discreet room integration.
Key features include support for HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, automatic input selection using priority or last-connected schemes, and PoE power acceptance with optional local mains power. The unit supports up to 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) and studio-grade multi-channel audio switching. I-EDIDPro EDID management ensures reliable handshake and source/display compatibility.
Performance specifications include a max data rate of 8.91 Gbps, support for deep color and x.v.Color, and transmission over HDBaseT up to recommended distances based on resolution. 1080p signals can reach up to 70m while 4K60 (4:2:0) can reach up to 40m over twisted pair. HDCP 2.2 is supported natively without conversion to older HDCP versions.
Connectivity comprises two HDMI inputs on female HDMI connectors and one HDBaseT RJ-45 output. Control is via panel buttons and DIP switches for last-connected or priority switching rules. The WP-211T is compatible with standard HDBaseT receivers and matrix systems and accepts PoE from compliant sources for simplified cabling.
Typical applications include classrooms, huddle rooms, and training rooms where a simple, wall-accessible source switching point is required. The WP-211T is suitable for podiums and wall installations where users need to plug in laptops or media players and have the active source routed to a remote display. The automatic switching options reduce the need for AV staff intervention during presentations.
