The RTS PH-88 is a single-sided lightweight headset designed for extended wear and reliable voice capture. It provides daylong comfort through a super lightweight construction and a cushioned moleskin-covered ear pad. The headset balances isolation and comfort to keep the user focused during long shifts.
The headset features a semi-rigid adjustable gooseneck with a dynamic noise-canceling microphone for precise mic placement and clean voice pickup. High-quality wide band dynamic earphones deliver clear audio with a measured speaker sensitivity of 109dB. The earphone covering improves fit and passive isolation to enhance perceived frequency response.
Technical performance includes a microphone sensitivity of -65 and a microphone impedance of 200 ohm for reliable signal levels in comms applications. The headset overall impedance is specified at 300 ohm and employs dynamic speaker elements for consistent audio response. These attributes make the PH-88 suitable for professional intercom and broadcast environments where intelligibility is critical.
Connectivity is flexible with multiple connector options including A4F, A4M, Dual 3.5mm, A5M, and 3.5mm 4-conductor variants.
