The PE4104G IP Control Box is a networked power distribution unit designed to provide remote and local control of four IEC C13 power outlets. It centralizes power management and adds intelligent sequencing to protect connected equipment during power-up. This compact unit is engineered for constrained spaces where controlled power sequencing and remote reboot capability are required.
The device supports individual outlet control for On, Off and Power Cycle operations and permits configurable power-on sequencing and delay per port. It accepts TCP/IP connections over a built-in 10/100 Ethernet port and integrates with web-based eco DC software for group management. Additional features include schedule control, email-based outlet commands, and heartbeat monitoring for automated recovery.
Electrically the PE4104G accepts 100 – 240 VAC input and provides a maximum total output current of 10A with four IEC 320 C13 outlets. Its internal breaker protection preserves device and outlet safety while separating unit power from outlet power so the user interface remains accessible during overload conditions. Typical device power consumption is low at approximately 3.1W to 3.5W depending on AC line voltage.
Connectivity includes a 10/100 Ethernet interface and broad protocol support including TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, SMTP, ARP, NTP, DNS, SNMP v1 v2 v3, Ping, Telnet and Modbus over TCP IP. It also supports IMAP and POP3 for email-based control and RADIUS for remote authentication. Integration with eco DC provides a graphical interface for bulk device management and remote reboot tasks.
The PE4104G is suitable for digital signage, video walls, edge computing devices, routers, cameras and small server installations where controlled power sequencing reduces inrush risk and improves system reliability. It is optimized for environments that do not require continuous server uptime but do require remote recovery and scheduled power operations. The slim housing supports desk mounting or rack mounting in constrained installations.
Setup and daily operation are handled via a browser-based user interface that simplifies configuration and scheduling. Security features include two-level password protection and TLS 1.2 encryption to protect management traffic. The unit is built for reliability with UL1077 breakers and environmental tolerance for 0 – 50 Celsius operating temperatures.
