A teachers best friend in a classroom filled with multiple platforms, Atlona’s AT-UHD-CLSO-612 Multi-Format Presentation Switcher.

Technology has taken us to an era of interactive learning through many different platforms. As students continue to learn, teachers are always searching for new ways to enlighten. Teachers have many tools at their disposal and technology has been the hammer to help pound the knowledge in a student’s brain. Computers, laptops, tablets, projectors and even HDTV’s have made their way to the classroom in an effort to help teachers teach while students learn. With these different components in a classroom, how are teachers able to systematically configure and unite these units to work as a whole?

Introducing Atlona’s 4K Multi-Format Presentation Switcher with HDBaseT inputs and outputs, the AT-UHD-CLSO-612. The AT-UHD-CLSO-612 is a single component that works well in presentation settings and ties all other AV components together. This unit is a great solution not only for schools or universities, but also boardrooms. The AT-UHD-CLSO-612 Multi-Format Presentation Switcher is one of the most advanced 4K-capable and HDBaseT switchers available in our industry.

Components such as laptops, computers, tablets, projectors, HDTV displays all work with different connectors and the  AT-UHD-CLSO-612 is capable of converting and scaling up or down. This unit is designed with 2 HDBaseT, 2 HDMI, and 2 analog inputs and is also capable of audio de-embedding. In addition, the CLSO-612 allows source selection, audio line-level, EQ adjustments, master/sub volume control and other functions available via front panel or remotely through IR, RS-232, or IP control. Utilizing the Power over Category Cable (PoCc) technology, the CLSO-612 is able to provide power for an HDBaseT receiver located at the video display end.

Atlona allows these systems to be installed simply and efficiently. The ability to combine multiple functions in a single unit while being able to choose the control and audio systems that meet the needs of a classroom allow the teachers to simply do their job and teach while their students continue to learn.
