The KC-Virtual Brain1 is a compact hardware platform that ships with one instance of BRAINware Gen2 preinstalled – a room control application that replaces a physical control brain. It provides a streamlined control layer that centralizes device logic and a customizable user interface. The unit is designed to manage a standard space including AV, lighting and environmental devices.
Key features include a fully customizable UI, support for Ethernet device control, and compatibility with control format converters to address legacy interfaces. The platform is scalable and flexible, enabling designers to deploy similar systems across multiple rooms while maintaining a consistent operator experience. Kramer Control Builder simplifies UI design via drag-and-drop configuration.
Under the hood the device runs Linux and supports Gigabit LAN plus Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n dual band networking. Physical I/O includes one HDMI input and one HDMI output, three USB ports (two USB 3.0 and one USB), and a single RJ-45 LAN connector. Power is supplied by 12V DC with a typical consumption of 1.7A while operating in ambient temperatures between 0 to 40 degrees C.
Connectivity covers common AV and control interfaces – HDMI female connectors for video, USB for peripherals, and Ethernet for networked devices and cloud management. The platform can operate multiple devices over Ethernet including scalers, displays, audio amplifiers, players, sensors, shades and lighting systems. Use of format converters enables additional protocol and legacy device support.
Typical applications include small-to-medium meeting rooms, training spaces, digital signage nodes and lecture rooms where a single-space controller is required. Installation and configuration are straightforward – install the device, use Kramer Control Builder to drag-and-drop interface elements and publish the control logic. The enclosure is aluminum with active cooling via fan and sink and includes mounting options such as VESA. The unit is CE certified and ships with a power adapter and video switching control cable.

Difference between tracking number provided by UPS vs USPS Delivery Confirmation number is: Delivery Confirmation status is updated when the delivery has been made or when the package has made it through major USPS stations.

Air shipments, Overnight, 2nd day and 3 day select methods offer guaranteed delivery time for your shipment. If you are in hurry or in need for the items on schedule, select one of these methods. Up-to-date tracking information is provided with each Air Shipment. AVProSupply has the right to choose between Air shipments to meet or reduce delivery time. Most items ordered from AVProSupply will be shipped out from our California Warehouse. Will-Calls are only allowed with Appointment Only - Please call Customer Service to set one up between the hours of 9am to 6pm PST.
