The IPMX-D40F-IRW3 is a compact 4MP QHD IP vandal dome camera designed to capture high-detail video and audio in challenging lighting conditions. It combines a Starlight image sensor with SmartIR illumination and a built-in microphone to deliver clear color and grayscale images from dusk to full night. The camera is housed in an IP67 / IK10 rated metal base for reliable indoor and outdoor protection.
Key capabilities include iMD 2.0 Intelligent Motion Detection and Scene-Self Adaptation which generate frame-level AI metadata for object detection and post-event object search. The camera records and streams three configurable video streams using H.265/H.264 compression and supports Smart IR for night vision up to 164 ft. It also features 120 dB WDR and 3D noise reduction for balanced exposure across high-contrast scenes.
Technical specifications include a 1/2.9 inch 4MP progressive CMOS sensor, 2.8 mm fixed lens with 107deg horizontal field of view, minimum illumination to 0.005 lux in color, and IR illumination that reaches up to 164 ft. The camera supports up to 2688 x 1520 main stream at 25/30 fps and offers three streams for simultaneous viewing and recording. Local edge storage is supported via microSD up to 256 GB for ANR buffering and onsite recording.
Connectivity and integration options include 10/100Base-T Ethernet with PoE 802.3af or 12 VDC power input, ONVIF Profile S/G/T compatibility, and broad protocol support including RTSP, RTP, HTTP, FTP, and more. Physical audio I/O leads and alarm I/O contacts allow gate and access-control integration and external audio devices. The camera is compatible with IC Realtime AI NVRs to enable Object Search across iMD 2.0 metadata channels.
