The IPMX-B40F-IRW3 is a compact 4MP QHD Starlight bullet camera designed for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It delivers detailed daytime color and long-range night imaging, and streams three independent video outputs for flexible monitoring. This model includes built-in AI metadata to enhance detection and search workflows.
Key features include IC Realtime iMD 2.0 intelligent motion detection and AI Scene Self-Adaptation for automatic frame-by-frame optimization. The camera provides up to 164ft of Smart IR illumination and supports 120dB WDR to handle challenging lighting. It also supports on-camera audio, alarm I/O, and local microSD recording for resilient capture.
Technical performance highlights include a 1/2.9″ 4 megapixel progressive CMOS sensor and resolutions up to 2688 x 1520 at the main stream. Color sensitivity reaches 0.005 lux at F1.4 and true zero lux when IR is active, while Smart IR and 3D DNR preserve detail in low light. The camera uses Smart H.264+/H.265+ compression when paired with compatible NVRs to reduce bandwidth and storage.
Connectivity supports RJ-45 10/100Base-T Ethernet with PoE 802.3af or 12VDC power input, plus ONVIF Profile S/G/T, RTSP, and common network protocols for broad VMS compatibility. Audio I/O and alarm ports are available on the pigtail for integrated systems, and a 256GB microSD slot enables edge recording and ANR buffering. The camera streams three configurable streams for simultaneous local and remote viewing.
