The IPFX-D40V-IRB3 is a factory-black 4MP varifocal vandal dome camera designed for discreet indoor/outdoor surveillance. It combines a motorized 2.7-13.5mm lens and Starlight sensor performance to deliver clear color and grayscale imaging in low light. The camera streams frame-by-frame AI metadata using iMD 2.0 to enhance search and event analysis.
Key features include onboard iMD 2.0 AI metadata streaming, SmartIR illumination up to 131 ft, and motorized zoom control for precise field-of-view adjustments. The camera supports H.264/H.265 triple-stream output and scene-adaptive compression when paired with compatible IC Realtime NVRs. Perimeter protection functions such as tripwire and intrusion detection classify human and vehicle objects to reduce false alarms.
Technically, the unit uses a 1/2.9″ 4MP progressive CMOS sensor with 2688 x 1520 effective pixels and a 2.7-13.5mm F1.5 motorized lens.
