The IPFX-B40V-IRB3 is a 4MP QHD Starlight motorized varifocal bullet camera designed for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It delivers color imaging in very low light down to 0.005 lux and switches to IR illumination when needed. The camera includes next-generation iMD 2.0 metadata streaming to enable AI-assisted searches on compatible NVRs.
This camera pairs a 2.7mm to 13.5mm motorized power-zoom lens with a Starlight image sensor to provide a zoom-dependent 29° to 104° horizontal field of view. It supports triple-stream H.265/H.264 encoding and SmartIR illumination up to 197ft to maintain exposure and avoid IR flare. Intelligent on-board analytics include perimeter protection and advanced motion filtering to reduce false alarms.
Performance highlights include 4MP (2688 × 1520) at up to 30 fps on the main stream and multiple lower resolution streams for compatibility with NVRs and VMS systems. The camera supports wide dynamic range and 3D DNR for improved image clarity in challenging lighting. Power consumption ranges from 2.8 W (12 VDC) to 9.2 W (PoE) depending on active features.
Connectivity includes a 10/100Base-T RJ-45 port with IPv4/IPv6 and industry protocols such as RTSP, ONVIF Profile S/G, CGI, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP and more. Edge storage supports MicroSD up to 256 GB and optional NAS or FTP archive. The camera is HTML5-capable for direct browser access and integrates with ICRealtime SmartICRSS and DSS management software and iOS/Android mobile apps.
Typical applications include perimeter and entry monitoring, parking areas, retail interiors and hospitality spaces where a low-profile black housing is desired. The motorized varifocal lens and long-range IR let installers frame wide areas or zoom in on faces and license plates while keeping color details in low light. The iMD 2.0 metadata stream enables rapid object search when paired with ICRealtime AI NVRs.
Installation is simplified by PoE or 12 VDC power options and a color-matched round three-hole base for fast mounting. The IP67-rated metal housing is weather-resistant and operates from -22°F to +140°F for year-round outdoor use. Built-in audio I/O, alarm I/O and a compact 9.61″ by 3.11″ by 3.00″ footprint make the camera practical to deploy in professional systems.

Most items ordered from AVProSupply will be shipped out from our California Warehouse. Will-Calls are only allowed with Appointment Only - Please call Customer Service to set one up between the hours of 9am to 6pm PST.
