While the warm white 24/7 Full Color and red & blue/audio warning skills remain, the new ADW2 version adds a 3rd “silent overwatch” mode that monitors everything in its 101° wide FOV while keeping the camera dark & silent as long as the camera’s AI-enhanced iMD senses no detection. This mode makes IPMX-B40F-ADW2 a better neighbor by staying dark & discrete by using its Starlight video sensor and human invisible IR night vision for standard low-light monitoring.
TRIPLE-THREAT FOR INTRUDERS
IPMX-B40F-ADW2’s bullet camera format is already a highly visible intruder deterrent, but the camera’s new 3 detection levels add a more nuanced & logical sequence of intrusion detection responses. In the first “silent sentinel” stage IPMX-B40F-ADW2 performs excellent & human invisible IR night vision observation like any of IC Realtime’s other excellent 4MP QHD cameras. This IR night vision kicks in automatically as ambient lux levels fall below the Starlight sensor’s 0.003 lux range and reaches out 95+ feet for sharp gray-scale images when the camera’s upgraded iMD 2.0 system senses no intrusions.

When the camera’s super accurate iMD senses human or vehicle motion, it switches to its second stage, back into full-color mode, and activates its warm-white LED illuminator if there is insufficient ambient lighting. If there is plenty of lighting detected by the light sensor the warm-white LED will remain off. This second stage response not only results in more accurate intruder observations and identification. The camera sends any alerts & takes any snapshots it’s set up to send and is now recording & streaming in full-color video & audio.

The third Active Deterrence stage happens when a person or vehicle violates IPMX-B40F-ADW2’s user-defined iMD tripline or defined trigger zone, unmistakably letting them know it’s time to leave by activating whatever level of Active Deterrence features you’ve set up. A lights-only silent deterrence level that only flashes its red & blue lights, to a direct but low-level audio warning, to full throttle detection lights & siren. IPMX-B40F-ADW2 alerts you about an unwelcome visitor by push, IC View+ app notification, or email and marks your NVR’s video timeline to find recordings easily using Object Search. Any level of response can be silenced in your IC View+ app by tapping the alarm disable button.
AUDIO & SMART DETECTION SHARING
Equipped with IC Realtime’s Artificial Intelligence human & vehicle detection with Intelligent Motion Detection and Perimeter Protection, the new IPMX-B40F-ADW2 already knows what to look for. The camera also has audio surveillance & 2-way communication skills with a built-in mic & speaker and audio in/out jacks to integrate with gate & door systems and alarm in/out ports.
