The IPEL-B80F-IRB3 is an 8MP 4K fixed bullet camera in factory black designed to deliver high-resolution video for professional surveillance. It combines a Starlight CMOS sensor and advanced SmartIR illumination to provide accurate color at very low light and clear grayscale imaging in total darkness. The camera includes AI-based detection to reduce false alerts and improve recognition accuracy.
Key features include a 2.8mm fixed lens with a 107 degree horizontal field of view, 120dB wide dynamic range and Smart H.265+ encoding for efficient bandwidth use. The unit supports ICRealtime FlexSmartAi stream management and Intelligent Motion Detect 2.0 for object-based alerting and selective search. The built-in audio, alarm I/O and on-board microSD storage add integration flexibility for many deployments.
Performance specifications include 3840 by 2160 resolution at 25-30 fps on the main stream, a 0.007 lux color sensitivity and 0 lux capability when IR illuminator is active. SmartIR extends night vision to approximately 98.4 ft and the camera’s sensor and AI combine to maximize identification capability. System memory and firmware resources include 128MB RAM and 1GB ROM for stable operation.
Connectivity supports 10/100Base-T Ethernet with a wide protocol set for interoperability, including HTTP, RTSP, FTP, SFTP and SNMP among others. Power options are PoE 802.3af or 12VDC input for sites without PoE. The camera is compatible with ICRealtime NVRs and standard VMS systems and supports NAS and microSD edge storage up to 256GB.
Typical applications include discreet indoor deployments at hospitality venues, retail and houses of worship where a black finish reduces visibility, and outdoor installations where subdued appearance aids covert monitoring. The camera’s high pixel density and AI-enhanced detection support facial and object recognition workflows when paired with analytic-capable recorders. The IPEL-B80F-IRB3 is built in a metal factory black housing with an integrated mount and IP67 weather protection to withstand outdoor conditions.
