The IPEG-E80F-IRW2 is an 8MP IP eyeball dome camera designed to capture detailed 3840×2160 video for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It delivers high-resolution imaging and onboard analytics in a compact turret form factor. The camera is engineered to balance image quality, intelligent detection, and simplified deployment.
Key features include a 1/2.7″ CMOS sensor, Smart IR night illumination rated to 98.4 ft, and a built-in microphone for audio capture. Video is encoded using H.265 and H.264 codecs with dual-stream capability to optimize bandwidth. Advanced imaging functions include 120 dB WDR, 3D noise reduction, Highlight Compensation, and Backlight Compensation to preserve detail in challenging lighting.
Performance specifications include a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 at up to 20 fps on the main stream and broad support for lower resolutions and frame rates on substreams. The camera supports Smart H.265+ and Smart H.264+ to reduce storage and network load. Minimum illumination reaches 0.009 lux at F2.0 in color and 0 lux when the IR illuminator is active.
Connectivity options include a 10/100Base-T RJ-45 Ethernet port with PoE (802.3af) support and compatibility with IPv4/IPv6 and common network protocols. The unit supports ONVIF Profile S/G/T, IC Now desktop, and IC View+ mobile apps for iOS and Android. Local edge storage is available via Micro SD card up to 256 GB and network storage via FTP/SFTP/NAS.
Typical applications include perimeter and entry monitoring, parking lot observation, and retail or office surveillance where high-resolution identification is required. Perimeter Protection analytics provide tripwire and intrusion detection with human and vehicle classification to reduce false alarms. The compact footprint and 0.82 lb weight enable discreet installations in varied environments.
Installation is straightforward thanks to PoE support and a flexible mounting range that provides pan, tilt, and rotation adjustments.
