The IPEG-E20F-IRW5 is a compact 2MP IP eyeball dome camera engineered to deliver day and night surveillance in indoor and outdoor environments. It records 1080p video at up to 30 frames per second and uses H.265 compression to reduce bandwidth and storage requirements. The housing is weather resistant and sized for discreet installation.
Key features include a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor, a fixed 2.8 mm lens with a 107 degree horizontal field of view, and Smart IR illumination rated to approximately 98 ft. The camera provides 120 dB wide dynamic range and backlight compensation to manage high contrast scenes. Advanced on-board analytics support perimeter tripwire and intrusion detection with human and vehicle classification.
Performance highlights include support for H.265 and H.264 codecs, main stream 1920×1080 at 1-30 fps, and multiple substream resolutions. Bit rate control supports CBR and VBR with H.264 ranges to 6144 kbps and H.265 down to 12 kbps. Day/night operation is handled via Auto ICR and selectable color or B/W modes.
Connectivity options include 10/100Base-T Ethernet with PoE (802.3af) or 12 VDC power. The camera supports ONVIF Profile S/G/T for third party NVR compatibility and edge storage via microSD card up to 256 GB or FTP/SFTP. Integrated audio uses a built-in microphone and remote access is available through IC Realtime platforms and mobile apps.
Practical applications include monitoring retail floors and storefronts, securing building entrances and perimeters, and general outdoor coverage of small to medium outdoor areas. The wide 107 degree lens minimizes the number of cameras required to cover wide zones. Intelligent motion detection and perimeter analytics reduce false alarms and accelerate event review.
Installation is straightforward thanks to a compact 4.33 inch dome and flexible pan/tilt/rotation ranges. The inner core is metal for durability while the outer cover is plastic to reduce weight. The camera is rated IP67 and operates from -40F to +140F, supporting demanding outdoor deployments while backed by a multi year warranty.
