The IPEG-E20F-IRW4 is a compact 2MP IP eyeball dome camera designed to capture full HD video in indoor and outdoor environments. It delivers a wide 102deg field of view from a fixed 2.8mm lens and supports PoE for simplified installation. The camera provides both color and infrared night imaging to maintain visibility around the clock.
Key features include H.265/H.264 compression, Smart IR illumination rated to 98ft, and Digital WDR for improved contrast in challenging lighting. The unit includes 16MB/64MB RAM/ROM and a 2.7 inch CMOS sensor that yields 1920 x 1080 effective pixels. Multiple stream outputs and ONVIF Profile S compatibility allow flexible integration with NVRs and VMS platforms.
Image performance is optimized for low-light operation with a minimum illumination of 0.01 lux in color and 0.001 lux in black and white, plus 0 lux when IR is active. The camera supports DWDR, BLC and HLC functions to handle backlight and highlight issues. Frame rates reach up to 25/30 fps at 1080p on the main stream depending on the region.
Connectivity includes RJ-45 10/100Base-T Ethernet, standard networking protocols including IPv4/IPv6/RTSP/RTMP and support for CGI and P2P. The camera interoperates via ONVIF Profile S for straightforward VMS and NVR integration. Edge storage via FTP is available for simple event capture and redundancy.
Typical applications include retail and commercial surveillance, school and campus monitoring, and residential perimeter coverage where discrete, vandal-resistant dome form factors are preferred. The camera’s DORI ranges support detection to 126ft and identification down to 12ft for common security tasks. Its small footprint and focused FOV also work well for hallway and entrance monitoring.
Installation is simplified by Power over Ethernet and a compact eyeball form factor that permits precise aim without complex mounts. The unit is rated IP67 for weather resistance and operates from -40°F to +140°F, offering reliable outdoor performance when properly installed. The metal inner core and sealed housing provide durable protection while remaining easy to mount and align.
