The HDEG-E80F-DI-M1 is a coaxial AVS eyeball turret camera designed to capture high-resolution surveillance video in a compact housing. It delivers 8MP 4K imagery using a 4K CMOS sensor to preserve detail across wide fields of view. The camera is engineered for both indoor and outdoor environments where clear video and reliable operation are required.
Key features include Smart Dual Illumination that combines IR and warm white LEDs, a fixed 2.8mm lens providing a 106deg horizontal field of view, and advanced image processing such as 120 dB WDR and HLC-Pro. The camera supports multiple video output formats selectable via OSD including AVS, TVI, AHD, and CVBS. Built-in audio capture and an IP67 rating add practical utility for many deployments.
Technical performance is driven by a 4K CMOS image sensor and progressive scanning that output 3840 x 2160 at up to 15 fps in AVS mode. The system supports multiple lower resolutions and frame rates for compatibility with legacy recorders. Noise reduction, automatic gain control, and smart IR functionality ensure usable images in varied lighting conditions.
Connectivity is provided through a single BNC video port that toggles AVS/TVI/AHD/CVBS via the OSD, and a built-in microphone supplies audio on compatible systems. The camera accepts DC 12V power with a tolerance of plus or minus 30 percent and consumes up to 5.7 W when illuminators are active. No external control ports are required for basic operation.
Typical applications include perimeter and storefront monitoring, parking lot observation, and general site surveillance where 4K detail and color night imaging are valuable. The Smart Dual Illumination enables discreet IR monitoring under normal conditions and automatic white light activation on trigger for color identification at distances up to 65 ft. The compact turret form factor allows unobtrusive placement on walls or ceilings.
Installation is straightforward thanks to a compact 3.70 inch diameter housing, pan/tilt adjustment range, and M12 lens mount.
